Filip Dujardin Photography

I have always had an interest in architecture, but more recently there has been urge of wanting to get involved with it as a designer. Maybe it's an aspirational thing or simply something I enjoy shape & form of. I've always wanted to blog about some of the most amazing buildings and structures but don't ever feel that it's appropriate to my practice. However the time might have finally come as the work of Filip Dujardin has triggered an idea for one of my briefs.

For the last module, I made a start to the ISTD fakery brief but didn't manage to establish a solid idea so aiming to spend a week to rework and resolve that for this module. The fakery brief is very open and can be interpretted in any way really so the main struggle at the moment is making a decision on what I want to focus on in terms of the idea and concept. While flicking through the net for some inspiration, this collection of photos by Dujardin titled Fiction has depicted fakery in very imaginative way. I find these extremely fascinative both as architectural structures and ideas that challenge the physics of construction.
