Following on from the studio visits over reading week, I thought I'd blog some work from the studio's that I went to. I was interested in these studios because of the scale, work produced and the work philosophy that I get from looking at their website. So the work is definitely relevant to my design practice.
Milkxhake in particular is quite interesting as I've appreciated their work since 1st year, except that I seem to appreciate more and different aspects of the same pieces of work now. Previously I'd admire the colours, illustrations and look of it, but now it's more focused on the execution of the concept, balance between image/type and considered use of typography as a whole.
Below are a brief selection of some of my favourites. If i haven't mentioned already, Milkxhake is a Hong Kong based design studio consisting of 2 permanent members who deal with identity, print and interactive media predominantly within the cultural sector.
