Revised / Final maps

Stitched and edited some more maps to use for the packaging and slip case of the look book for STUBBURBAN. Here are a few of the image treatments. I wanted to use images of maps in a more subtle way, treating them more as patterns/textures rather than an imagery whilst achieving a professional, high end image to suit the STUBBURBAN profile. I spent a couple of hours browsing through google maps to find suitable terrain to use, the best ones I found were from China, where the texture of the mountains are most interesting and monotone with little greenery.

I had to prepare the images for high quality print, therefore I had to go through the process of stitching several images together before I can retouch them. With most images, I've just cleaned up the errors with the merge, altered levels, made them black & white images and for a few of them, inverted the colours, which you don't even notice unless you know that they have been inverted.
