Spread Development

Further spread development for the STUBBURBAN lookbook. Laura provided me with all the images that has been photographed by Adam Fussel along with all the content that she wants. We had a brief discussion prior to this development regarding the general layout and order of the book itself, which has now been clarified and worked on a bit more since.

Laura's work is heavily driven by the materials and the innovative designs focusing on outdoor wear and durability. This was something that she wanted an emphasis on in her lookbook, therefore has provided all the content of the coat specifications that she wants placing into each spread to accompany the photography. 

Early stages still, experimenting with a range of different design direction and layout variations. The photos are quite minimal, shot with a white background and well balanced lighting, the focus is definitely on the materials and the craftsmanship of the coats; something that I didn't want the editorial design to distract away from.
